True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. Our menu features food and drinks crafted with nutrient-dense ingredients and carefully sourced proteins from the world’s most responsible and sustainable growers, farmers and producers. Food is amazing! We try something different every time we go and nothing disappoints. Our server, Madison provided great customer service.

I don't understand how this place stays in business. Is one of the most visible restaurants at Avalon and I'm sure that the rents are extremely high. The ambience is that of a deli in a school cafeteria, there is no comfort in any of the seating. We sat at a 2-top, and although there were very few people in the place, we were seated directly adjacent to somebody else at a 2 top. Very little space between us. We started off with the drink choices, of which there are not many non-alcoholic options. There is no soda other than the soda they make there which is quite frankly the most disgusting soda I've ever had in my life. The food options were better, extensive, and quite substantial in size. We left the restaurant with full stomaches, so at least there's that. This is definitely a place I would not hang out at after dinner since the ambience was so bad.

First time here and we were dissapointed. Our server was not very nice or liked her job we could tell. We ordered the Edameme dumplings to start with and they were very bad. One bite and that's it. Next we ordered the Turkey burger and a regular burger. Both were ok nothing great for 20 bucks. Also I ordered a diet coke and you would think I ordered pure evil there. No soda! 🤣

Cold soup and cold cauliflower appetizer. Spaghetti squash dried out and needed more sauce. Steak on teriyaki bowl well done - asked for medium. Not a good experience

We have always enjoyed eating here as a family of 4. Love that they have kid friendly menu and a variety of drinks. Sourdough pizza is good, turkey burger was bigger than I anticipated! All so very delicious!

I have been going to True Food since they opened in Arizona. I was so excited when I moved to Kennesaw, GA, because I found out there were two True Foods in the Atlanta area. I tried the Buckhead location first. That was a complete loss. The service was okay, but the food was awful! Then, I found out that there was one at Avalon. I have gone many times and it was absolutely fantastic! Today was a completely different experience. The service was great, but I found out they had changed the menu and changed the desserts. It was awful! I will honestly never go back. What was once my favorite restaurant, today it is my least. Sorry True Food, until you get it together and realize that your patrons are much smarter, I will not be going back unfortunately. Dr. Guilford

Great service and food was delivered excellent. Turkey burger on Gluten free bun with a side of seasonal veggies. My friend had a steak salad and enjoyed it too.
