True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. Our menu features food and drinks crafted with nutrient-dense ingredients and carefully sourced proteins from the world’s most responsible and sustainable growers, farmers and producers. The food was very good. The avocado toast was amazing, though very spicy. This is not a good place for kids. The kids menu is very limited.

Food was expensive and very average. Ordered a happy hour drink that never came, which then screwed up the bill.

Fantastic service — our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. She is a treasure. Food seemed extra delicious. We ordered our favorite dishes & they seemed better than ever. Everyone made sure that last night was perfect in every way. We had disappointing service our last visit. Everyone seemed to make sure that would never happen again. We even were given an unexpected treat — dessert. A complete surprise. We were delighted. Thank you all. You’re the best.

Our waiter did not know anything about the menu. We asked him specific questions on what’s in of their cocktails and food item and the answer he gave us was “ I don’t really know” and did not offer to find out from one of the other wait staff.

Pleasant and engaging server. My veggie burger was moist and flavorful. Miso dumplings were ok.

Very poor service. Slow. Inattentive. Took forever to get orders taken. Never refilled water. We eat there frequently & this was the only time that’s happened.

Preview tasting of the new fall menu was an excellent way to try new items. The Chinese Chicken Salad and Rosemary Focaccia were my overall favorites and the grilled tenderloin with cheesy potatoes was very flavorful. Dessert paired chocolate and peanut butter in an irresistible almond/coconut crusted “Tarte Bite.” All three drinks in the Margarita Flight were well blended with no single ingredient overpowering the others. It was hard to choose, but the El Pomelo with patron blanco tequila and grapefruit edged slightly ahead off the other two as my top choice.

Delicious September specials. We had the Rancher’s Hash & Burrito. Delicious! We also went early, so the noise level was low.
