True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. Our menu features food and drinks crafted with nutrient-dense ingredients and carefully sourced proteins from the world’s most responsible and sustainable growers, farmers and producers. Expand your palate with our Edamame Dumplings, grab a bite of comfort food with our Grass-fed Burger or Lasagna Bolognese, or enjoy lighter fare with our O.G. Tuscan Kale Salad with Grilled Sustainable Salmon. Regardless of the occasion, we know our Edison guests leave feeling energized, satisfied and most importantly, feeling great. Located in Edison at Menlo Park Mall off of Parsonage and Route 1 Highway. Detattached from the mall, next to Shake Shack in the Macy's parking lot. New flavors, new combinations, new obsessions. Appetizers were really flavor full. Cocktails need some work. Entrees leave a lot to be desired. Food was dry. A basic hamburger should still have some flavor. Meatloaf was u recognizable as meatloaf and very dry as well. Ambience was nice and staff really very friendly and helpful. Given that there are so many options in close proximity they will need to up their flavor game to compete.

Great food, great service. Really nice menu options! And the seasonal options are awesome too! Lots to chose from: vegan, gluten free, clean food. We will be back again.

I loved the openness and light at True Food Kitchen. I very much enjoyed the cocktail I had (Blood Orange margarita) and the crisp chicken tenders either kale salad. The chicken is air fried, so lighter than fried, and with great crunch and flavor. The kale salad was really delicious. My husband had a glass middle bowl that he said was very good too. We will definitely go back.

The place looks like fast food cafe. The food was not great, bland and dry. Our server however, was very pleasant and caring.

The restaurant was extremely cold. The hostess agreed and commented other guests felt the same way. Kale salad dressing had no flavor. The pasta was overcooked (soft and pasty). Lasagne was dry (hard noodles) a very small portion and too much sauce to compensate. Bella gave us great service! Your restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night at 7:00??

Highly disappointed that they took their homemade chips off the menu and now are using ones out of a bag. Also, they don’t have a great red wine organic selection and the one I wanted they were out of which was sustainable. They need to make sure they don’t get so corporate and commercial and move away from being True Food.
