    We had a very nice meal. Our party of 5 enjoyed the corner table in the back - nice and quiet. Food was great, and service was always there when we needed it, but not hovering. We wish there was a True Foods Kitchen also in Davis or Sacramento, closer to where we live - but we'll be coming back to this one!

    Everyone is awesome at true foods. From the hostess to the bartenders to the waiters to the restaurant service assistants and the cooks. Management does a great job at ensuring Everyone is happy. It rarely gets too busy …. That the food is a little cold. Management will quickly corrects the problem.

    Service & food A++ - the base price for the heart healthy grain bowl is $18.95 before adding in the protein - for three people, one who had hot water & lemon, I had a non-alcohol spritzer with Pomegranate juice, and my other friend had an Arnold Palmer, the bill was $94. With tip (because our server was perfect), lunch for 3 was $115. Not hugely pocket book friendly. Open patio & they allow dogs is another plus - noise level because of location (in a popular outdoor mall) is just what you get. I do love this place as a special treat.

    Love the new menu! Food is always super fresh and tasty. We had a margherita pizza, tuna bowl and curry entree. Delicious and great service as always. Look forward to exploring their new drink menu when 'dry January' is over!

    A bit disappointed, ordered guacamole for appetizer…after waiting awhile, asked the server what is happening with our appetizer…and a few minutes later all the food came out at the same time. The excuse was that the kitchen was backed up 😱 Not sure the management is aware of the fact that they have dissatisfied customers…even worse if they do but don’t take steps to recover

    We've dined at True Foods since they opened their first restaurant in California several years ago, so this was hardly our first experience with them. In fact, I have often favored dining here due to their health-conscious menu offerings. However, our recent visit to their Walnut Creek location was a disappointment. Our party of 4 included 2 adults and 2 children. Both of the adult meals were over sauced and lacked any presentation. I opted for the side salad with my meal which arrived in a bowl small enough to be used for a condiment. As for the children's meals, they were the biggest disappointments of the experience. The Mac and Cheese was essentially buttered pasta with a bit of grated parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. We initially sent the dish back because it simply looked like buttered pasta, but the server "reassured" us that it was "mac and cheese". The True Crisp'd Chicken Plate arrived with 2 small pieces of chicken and a few crudely cut carrot sticks on an unusually large plate. The dish almost looked as though someone just handed us their leftovers. For a restaurant changing +$30 for an entree, we would have expected more value for our money and more quality from the kitchen. I can safely say that we won't likely be dining at True Food Kitchen again any time soon.

    Recently found this place. Using In Kind gift cards purchased at Costco. Food is usually good. Service is always attentive. Drinks are pricey but good. One gripe is that there always seem to be things not available - on all four visits so far.
