Trummer's Restaurant recently underwent a 10 year renovation and relaunch in Historic Clifton. This is where New York City meets Historical Charm. Owners Stefan and Victoria Trummer bring their extensive New York City restaurant experience and passion to small town Clifton to offer a unique dining experience.

Trummer’s Restaurant is engulfed in history that dates back to the 1800’s and brings an edge to the historical area. Each floor has something special to offer for the eyes as well as the palate. Come see for yourself why we continue to receive rave reviews from both critics and guests alike!

We had the baby kale salads and the leaves were yellow. The venison was tough. Very good risotto. Service is always good.

Nice bar area (large) with nice signature cocktails and extensive wine list. Delicious dinner, but the service is what set it apart. Recommend.

Food was amazing (as always)! Best rack of lamb I’ve ever had. Dined a bit late but everything was still superb! Service remained top-notch even though we were still sitting after advertised closing time. No rush, no pressure. Can’t wait to go back!

Trummers is a beautiful restaurant in a cute town. The staff are attentive, the cocktails and wine is superb, and the food is wonderful. Highly recommend, especially for a special occasion.

Have generally enjoyed Trummer's. Service was great ! Food today was uninspiring. Nothing special on the brunch menu. Expected more. Pastry basket just OK, drinks, as usual, very good, smashburger dry, avacado toast was more tunafish tasting than anything else, salmon would have been better. Beignet's very good, sauces just plain... Too bad, makes it tough to come back when we have had hit or miss experiences...

Hooray! Trummer’s has brought back brunch, and I couldn’t be happier! My favorite restaurant has reintroduced their Saturday and Sunday brunch, and I was lucky enough to be there for the unveiling. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and grits – the shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked, and Zach’s grits are to die for! Dessert was just as impressive, thanks to Amanda’s pastry magic. The beignets were crispy on the outside and pillowy-soft on the inside. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, creating a friendly and family-like atmosphere. If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Clifton, Trummer’s will not disappoint!

Very disappointed with my dining experience Friday night at Trummers. Waited to be seated 20 mins even with a reservation. After ordering dinner, 2 different times, our waiter returned to table to announce they were out of both selections my son made! The weekly special was prime rib and that’s all he wanted but after ordering, we were told there was none left yet it was delivered to the table right next to us! He then ordered the lamb and was told they were out of that! What the heck?!!. Really not what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber and price. There were other missteps I won’t mention. So disappointed for a special dinner with our son.
