Trummer's Restaurant recently underwent a 10 year renovation and relaunch in Historic Clifton. This is where New York City meets Historical Charm. Owners Stefan and Victoria Trummer bring their extensive New York City restaurant experience and passion to small town Clifton to offer a unique dining experience.

Trummer’s Restaurant is engulfed in history that dates back to the 1800’s and brings an edge to the historical area. Each floor has something special to offer for the eyes as well as the palate. Come see for yourself why we continue to receive rave reviews from both critics and guests alike!

We had a wonderful experience at Trummers in the beautiful Wine Room with our extended family for an anniversary celebration. Our waiter, John, was the epitome of excellence in service and culinary knowledge. And we enjoyed meeting the Trummers themselves! They are passionate and accomplished restauranteurs. We highly recommend Trummers!

Really a terrific spot... food was very very good; appetizers were exceptional. I have the pork schnitzel, and it was huge (enough for two people)... and it was very very good. The dill potato salad was terrific. The other order was the risotto... it was a bit conflicted in flavors and components. Wine list is great. Big downside was, admittedly the place had a private event, that the bar was chaos and LOUD, and check-in with a reservation was confused. Ordering a glass of chablis seemed to stump them. Simple fixes, but kept the stars from being maxed out.

The atmosphere was great and the wine and drink selection was great! But the food was mediocre and the service was lacking. I ordered the prime rib and it was a bit of a disappointment coming from a restaurant like this. We were constantly served food with no utensils (appetizers, main and dessert). It also would take about 10 minutes to get someone’s attention. The only item that came out fast was the bill as we started our dessert.

The risotto was simply outstanding and was the sweet gem salad - outstanding Irish coffees and sage cocktails. Service was very attentive. Will certainly come back

We had the baby kale salads and the leaves were yellow. The venison was tough. Very good risotto. Service is always good.

Nice bar area (large) with nice signature cocktails and extensive wine list. Delicious dinner, but the service is what set it apart. Recommend.
