Trummer's Restaurant recently underwent a 10 year renovation and relaunch in Historic Clifton. This is where New York City meets Historical Charm. Owners Stefan and Victoria Trummer bring their extensive New York City restaurant experience and passion to small town Clifton to offer a unique dining experience.

Trummer’s Restaurant is engulfed in history that dates back to the 1800’s and brings an edge to the historical area. Each floor has something special to offer for the eyes as well as the palate. Come see for yourself why we continue to receive rave reviews from both critics and guests alike!

Beautiful environment in the dining room but as far as the food, not as impressive. We live nearby and hoped it would be better than our previous experience there but we do much tastier salmon at home. The cheesecake dessert looked good but again, we can make a much better one at home. Venison steak was tasty, probably the best dish we had. Overall, disappointing especially for Valentine’s Day dinner out.

Wonderful venue for a birthday celebration. The fixed Valentine’s Day menu was superb and the service was excellent. A great meal and great choice.

I disovered Trummers quite by accident when I looking for Truffle Fries for my son. We found Trummers, and the fries and their chicken were outstanding. That's when I knew I had to bring my wife here for Valentine's Day. And Trummers did not disappoint! That meal was the best we've had since moving to Virginia. If you are having trouble finding great food, service, and atmosphere, I can't rave about Trummers enough.

Trummer's always has the most unique menus in this area. The chef always seems to find the perfect blend of flavors to make truly wonderful items, whether it's an appetizer, entree or dessert. They also have a great choice of wines and the bar downstairs is also very nice. It's a great place to take that special person for a beautiful evening. Yes, it's expensive, but well worth it.

Huge shoutout to Mike - he’s the best and an added reason to return to Trummer’s. While all options are fantastic, Mike always helps us find the best with his great insight into the nuances of all the flavors - from the food to the wine - he always provides recommendations that beat expectations!

This was my family's first time to Trummer's and in all honesty we were not disappointed. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. Were we sat was open and had a ton of natural light so it was a very pleasant place to eat. The staff were very friendly and did a great job then entire time. But the star of the show as the food. It was just fantastic. Not a single thing we got was less than tasty as hell. We were more than pleased.

Justin was a fabulous waiter, and the food was excellent (chestnut soup and prime rib and Brussel sprouts, specifically). Support staff were also wonderful and the ambiance was perfect for date night.
