Recently named Top Thai Restaurant in the United States by Travel + Leisure Magazine and Voted Atlanta's Best Thai Restaurant by the AJC, Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft brings new flavors and creations of Thai Cuisine to Atlanta. Offering a variety of small plates done in a tapas style, as well as larger entrees that showcase gourmet Thai Street Food.

Chef Dee Dee Niyomkul, daughter of Charlie & Nan Niyomkul (Creators of Nan Thai & Tamarind Seed), calls upon original recipes used by her mother and grandmother, an original street food vendor in Bangkok, to enchant diners. Niyomkul brings these unique flavors and spices to the table in a real gourmet fashion.

The elevated skyline views, seen from the patio, are some of the best in the city!

    We ordered everything at once and wanted to come out all at once. Of the 10 dishes ordered we got 5 fairly quick. After we had finished all of those we still hadn’t received the rest. Our server finally came to take the empty plates we had stacked and I mentioned to him that we were still missing 5 items and would like more water/drinks. He blamed the kitchen and ran off. We received 3 of the missing items and then asked to add on 2 sides of extra roti because it wasn’t enough for the amount of curry that comes with it. After a long wait we waived someone down and they came back rather quickly with 2 of the missing dishes but not the roti and we never got a chance to order another round of drinks. It was just really disjointed and overall a very disappointing dinner that was meant to be an enjoyable Christmas Feast. The server comped the roti as disliked category but the $26 discount felt like the bare minimum. Like yes you should not charge me for the items I never got for starters but yeah like I said very disappointing all together. This was first time coming to Tuk Tuk and we had high hopes. I sincerely doubt we’ll be back.

    Came on Christmas night, which I understand is challenging for staffing, I’m absolutely sure. Drinks took 30 mins to receive, food came out cold, and I didn’t even eat dinner with my husband because his food came out 15-20 mins after mine. We had a nice gentleman taking care of us, but it was completely out of his hands when drinks were prepared & food was delivered. He felt so bad he offered us dessert, which was a nice gesture, but this experience left a bad taste after many great meals here prior.

    Excellent service as always. The good was also delicious and well prepared. The shrimp and chicken skewers were delicious as well as the Salmon Panang!…Simon was spectacular as always in the way he treats the guests and helps to get out orders!

    Nice restaurant. They're on the third floor and only one elevator was working. Reservation was at 5pm, the time they opened. They were not ready to seat the over 25 folks who had the same time reservation. After they got everyone seated, it went well. The temperature in the restaurant was not comfortable, it was very cold. I had to wear my coat throughout my stay while eating dinner. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We did not have to wait long for our meal.

    While the appetizers were on point, well flavored & timely, our dinner orders were a little disconnected and delayed. We were never told that the sticky rice ordered to accompany one of the entrees was not available until we prompted a follow up question. This did not spoil our conversation and fellowship. It is always a pleasure for me to expose diners to the ambiance of this place.

    You will never go wrong choosing Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft. This place is my go-to Thai food spot and has been for over a decade. LOVE Tuk Tuk!
