Nice little spot, was decently quiet occasional load moments as it’s located just off a hotel lobby. Food was very good perfect serving size to be satisfied but not stuffed. The service was okay. Our server was very nice. It felt like overall everyone working there was in no hurry to do anything. There was only one server and one bartender and they seemed in no hurry to do anything. Overall a cute place if you’re in no hurry.

We had a great time at Tulip. Our server Alex was attentive and kind, even offering to take a photo for us as we were visiting with family. It was a little loud at first and is in the lobby of a hotel. The food was very tasty, arrived quickly and was excellent value for price. Would definitely recommend.

The website and reality are not the same. The website is out of date as it pertains to the menu and photos of the dining experience. The website demonstrates a nice dining room but when we arrived, the nice dining area was closed and our table was in the middle of the hotel lobby, right next to the bar. It was noisy and not what I was expecting for a family birthday supper for my wife. The food was decent and the service was fine however the ambience was not what I had seen online. The signature cocktails in the photos online were also several years out of date and no longer available. This restaurant was fine if you are staying in the hotel however not for a family night out.

We were seated in the bar since the larger restaurant was closed. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. I had the burger which was very good. My partner had the pork chop, also very good. It was supposed to be accompanied by asparagus but it came with broccoli. My partner spoke to the waiter who apologized that they were out of asparagus and offered to bring green beans instead. My partner appreciated the green beans since he doesn’t like broccoli. I had the crème brûlée for dessert, it was delicious. I would be happy to eat here again when we come back to Ottawa.

My wife and I ate here for valentines day and she has serious allergies,the place chief called to plan our meal which is was over the top nice . We got there the service was amazing but the problem started with the terrible wine selection . We proceeded to wait for our first course of the meal they came out with burnt toast and balsamic which lead to a pastry of some sort with lobster inside which was different but ok . Then our main course halibut showed up Rock hard over cooked with some sauce that had no flavour. So bad I tried to put salt and pepper on it to wash down . They offered me another meal when our dessert came out . They called it chocolate mousse with something , which was pudding from a store with coffee ground on it. My second replacement meal came out and the fries were soaked in oil at this point had enough chances and realized the cook is terrible. They took 50 percent off which was the least the could do but our bill was still 180 dollars for worst meal I've ever eaten . I would stay far away from this place if you want a good meal .

The lounge is very romantic and stunning, I had a great time here although I tried the steak and wasn’t quite satisfied with it. Also the crème brûlée I wasn’t a fan of. Everything else was perfect. A lovely place for cocktails and socializing ✨
