Overall a good experience, but the restaurant was out of the wine that we ordered and out of the sweet tea chicken. The mahi mahi had good flavor but was tough and overcooked. The server brought the bill and didn’t offer us dessert.

We had the best waiter, he was so attentive, timely & helpful. Was a little disappointed in the pineapple sangria, a lot of ice in the drink took away from the flavor. Food came quickly for how busy they were & was very good. Everyone I dined with liked the variety of the menu. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Genuinely one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The food was phenomenal, every dish was hot and cooked perfectly, and the presentations were beautiful. I had some high expectations from the menu and other reviews, and I’m so happy to say my expectations were exceeded. I can’t wait till I’m back in Grand Rapids just so I can come here again.

Amazingly good experience. When reserving on Open Table, it gave us the option of outdoor seating. There is no outdoor seating so that was a bit off putting, but the service and food was good and the vibe was nice. We’ll be back.

When we arrived we were asked if we wanted to sit at the bar because the table they had was reserved 20 min after our reservation. It was a little frustrating that we were being asked to accommodate a later reservation when we also had one. We were eventually sat but without any understanding why it seemed we were inconveniencing the seating.

This is the last chance we have decided to give Tupelo Honey. Each time the hostess experience worsens and we have decided to stop providing business. The server was great but the 4 hostesses working were very rude. We waited 30 min following the start of our reservation and people with similar size tables and later reservations were being seated before us. Save your time and go get brunch somewhere else, GR is full of better service spots. These girls rolled their eyes and audibly sighed multiple times. We simply asked to move our reservation outside since none of the tables inside were seats we were allowed to take.
