Originally opened in 2010 as the first authentic Artisan Italian restaurant in Salem, NH, Tuscan Kitchen is now one of the most beloved restaurants in New England. Founder Joe Faro, the son of Sicilian immigrants, had the vision to share his love for Italian heritage with his guests. Tuscan Kitchen has locations in Salem, New Hampshire, Burlington and Boston, Massachusetts.

    10/10 wouldn’t recommend! They were very friendly at first until we waited over an hour without food. When we asked our waitress, she told us she put it in 32 mins ago. I explained her my situation that we have to leave. Because we had to go to our flight. She brought the manager over and he was very hostile. We told we have to pay for our food even we haven’t received it. He left in the mist of conversation. 5 minutes later, they brought the food. The food was not that great. Save your money!!!!!

    Had a lovely lunch with family, delicious fresh made food. Never felt rushed. Good value for the quality of the food.

    Place is understaffed. The waitress was working hard but there does not seem to be any support staff. Water was empty, dirty dishes not cleared, long wait for drinks. For the price I would expect service levels closer to something like Davio’s. It was ‘t close.

    I’ve been to TK 3x in a month for work and pleasure. It’s just getting better! Edson was a great server and we loooove seeing our friend Estefan (Estie) who greets us with a huge smile. Makes my day every time. Thank you for keeping this great staff.

    It was my first time in at the new location. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our Server, Chris was fantastic. He was attentive, professional, knowledgeable and personable. We will ask for Chris when we return. The calamari was good but a bit overcooked and the portion was smaller than we expected, the meatball app was delicious and a generous portion and the warm bread and oil was great. The Seabass special was very well presented and tasted fantastic, the salmon was a generous portion and very tasty. The pasta with pesto and shrimp was good but there was too much pesto and it overpowered the dish. We weren’t able to order dessert as we were running to see a movie. We look forward to going back to try more menu items and we will be sure to ask for Chris.

    It was very loud, very uncomfortable. Felt like I was jammed in. They made a mistake on both me and my friends cocktail was wrong. The salad was wrong. Overall the service was good, but it left personal service just feeling too busy.

    This bears a resemblance to the old Tuscan Kitchen. They've gone upscale. The restaurant was tastefully decorated, unfortunately, the noise level is high which detracts from the ambiance. The staff was friendly and attentive. The dinner was excellent. The food was properly prepared and delicious. The only downside was: -The bartender had no idea what a Highball was (Scotch & Soda) and sent it Neat. This was quickly corrected since I was able to remember the recipe for Scotch & Soda. - I'll assume this was a one-off, out of their control, I had to send the CaesarSalad back as the lettuce was bitter.

    We had to wait a very long time to receive our main entrees. We had to ask our server twice on the status of our entrees. Waiting 45 minutes to receive ones entrees is unacceptable.
