Thank you for a wonderful 2024 season! twenty-eight Atlantic is closed for fine dining for the season and will resume in mid- March of 2025!

Housed in Wequassett Resort's Eben Ryder House, an 18th-century sea captain’s home, twenty-eight Atlantic is one of the most stunning settings to dine in New England. Guests will experience a coastal menu with organic presentations and flavors from noted Executive Chef James Hackney, an award-winning wine list, and a breathtaking view of Pleasant Bay. Chef Hackney and his expert culinary team pride themselves on creating unique culinary experiences, pushing the boundaries of their creativity. The Forbes Five Star restaurant offers a light and airy atmosphere, with floor-to-ceiling windows that immerse guests in the ocean view.

Please join us for the 2024 twenty eight Atlantic fine dining experience overlooking Pleasant Bay. In lieu of an a la carte menu the culinary team will feature two prix fixe menus. A three (3) course menu with choices within ($125++) and a seven (7) course tasting menu ($175++). These menus will only be offered indoors. We look forward to your visit.

Food was great - atmosphere was great - only "flaw" in the evening was getting the location of the entrees to wrong diner - given everything else being great - that was an unexpected hiccup.

Another fabulous evening spent at 28 Atlantic. This is our family go to for special events. Tonight we were celebrating both of my parents birthdays. The view is stunning, but get there early as the sun is going down earlier now that it’s Autumn. Our waitress Renee was attentive and very knowledgable about the menu, easily answering all our questions. One of our guests has a food allergy and the kitchen and staff were able to make adjustments to certain dishes and were very careful to make sure she was served the correct dishes. I could tell she was very pleased with the experience. The food as always was delicious, some of the highlights were the halibut, the beef cheek dish and the fig and burrata salad. The staff made my parents feel so special, it is a fantastic spot for celebrating milestones or occasions. It can be hard to get a reservation in the summer so if you are visiting the Cape in the Fall I would make a real effort to enjoy dinner here.

The food, service and overall ambiance was outstanding. The halibut was deliciius. The halibut was prepared in a very novel manner. The serving was generous in proportion. The wine list is extensive. The cocktail selection is unique including some old time favorites. I would highly recommend dining at 28 Atlantic. If you dine early the view of Pleasant Bay is mesmerizing.

We had been looking forward to celebrating our anniversary at 28 Atlantic, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience- with two weddings at the resort happening at the same time, service was spread very thin. Our waitress was juggling many tables and we didn’t even receive menus until 30 minutes after being seated. the meals were surprisingly very average, more like banquet food. At $365 for two people we certainly expected more. We have been in the past and it really felt like a special place, but we will wait until we hear things improve before going back
