Two Brothers Restaurant offers a lovely ambiance with charming surroundings at Osprey Valley that make for a pleasant evening out. The decor is inviting, and the overall atmosphere sets a nice tone for the meal. However, our dining experience was a mixed bag.
We opted for the chef’s prix fixe menu, but unfortunately, the execution fell short. When my husband placed his order, he was informed that two of his three selections were no longer available. This was disappointing, as we were not advised of any limitations to the offerings when we initially received the menu. While the dishes we eventually received were acceptable in quality, nothing stood out as particularly memorable or worth the premium pricing of the prix fixe menu.
The service was polite and professional, with our server doing her best to accommodate us in a timely fashion. However, we observed a curious inefficiency: the waitstaff seem to be required to mix their own drinks for their tables rather than having a distinct bartender tending to this task. This practice led to noticeable delays in both drink service and the pacing of the meal overall; particularly as many of the drinks on the menu are higher-end multi-step laboured concoctions.
When compared to other restaurants of a similar caliber in the broader area, the prices felt slightly high, especially given the portion sizes, which left us feeling that the value didn’t quite match the cost.
While we plan to return at some point to explore the regular menu, we won’t be in a hurry to do so. Two Brothers has potential, but for now, it feels like it’s missing the mark in several key areas.
