                                                                        We had a fantastic experience at Tzuco on Christmas Eve. The Queso Fundido with Mushrooms was exceptional. We were drawn to this dining choice after reading an article about the chef’s signature Beef Wellington; it did not disappoint! Also notable: Onion Soup & Mexican Hot Chocolate.

                                                                        While we enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience, we felt our server was extremely inattentive and made our experience a lot worse. As someone with allergies it was extremely difficult to order with this server as it seemed he didn’t know the menu and was unsure about allergens. In addition to this, many of the dishes on the menu contain allergens but they are not listed which is misleading and dangerous for people with allergies.

                                                                        We went there on Christmas Eve for a one- night only special of Beef Wellington. This dish was a highlight and was presented as a work of art in your plate. We sat at the seats overlooking the kitchen. It was fun to see the very busy kitchen humming along without out much banter. We had the octopus appetizer. It was grilled and the best, most tender octopus I ever ate. Our waiter Amilcar, was great at recommending wines to go with the meal. He also recommended the octopus, and I thanked him over and over for that one. Thanks to chef Carlos too!!
