Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole’s, Uchi, is open in Miami. Chef Cole's signature non-traditional take on Japanese food has delighted guests from around the world since its original location in Austin, Texas since 2003.
Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

Terrible service. Austin location is 1000x better and this place should be ashamed to have the same name. Left after appetizers due to delays in food arriving, lack of fish available despite being on the menu, and rude service. Service was horrible.

I am celiac and I felt comfortable ordering food here. The waiter was knowledgeable, and friendly. The sushi was delicious. My husband doesn’t eat fish and he ordered 2 items which he throughly enjoyed. The restaurant seems to be always busy. As soon as a table was emptied it will filled back up again. It did take a little while for our food to arrive as the kitchen was backed up with orders. All and all we had a lovely dinner and the food and service was fantastic.

Unless you’ve been in this restaurant before, you have no idea what you are ordering. The happy hour seems like a good choice, but the portions are so small. After ordering 4-5 orders you are still hungry. The salad is great, chicken is very good. You need to use waiter’s help to order the right things. The waiters are very good and helpful.

Amazing. Best sushi I’ve had every time I come here everything is always on point. Food is delicious, staff are friendly and professional o always recommend this place.

Uchi is a very good restaurant. I remember it being better the first 4-5 times I had been there. I recall lovely and well trained staff who literally walked us through our selection. We gave them our budget per person, what we did or absolutely did not want to eat and they sent us food. We don’t know exactly what was coming but it was all very delicious and turned dinner into an adventure. No such experience this time. We made our selections and while the food was good, I miss the touch of being guided through the offerings.
