Uchi, "home" in Japanese, is founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole. A delicate balance of elevated food and impeccable service, Uchi offers non-traditional Japanese cuisine with signature tastings, sushi, and seasonal omakase. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    We sat at the sushi bar & the sushi chef was so fun to talk to. He was very knowledgeable about the food we were trying & we loved learning about all the fish he would serve us. All the chefs were kind & easy to talk to. We loved the vibes. & of course the food & cocktails were EXCELLENT. We came for our anniversary for the first time & we are so excited to come back!

    Uchi is great, definitely one of the better “high” end restaurants in old town. Quality food, service, and value.

    Ever since I moved to Arizona from a coastal city, I’ve been on a mission to find the best sushi place. Being new to the area I tried almost every place until I found this hidden gem. Let’s start with the interior, amazing classy and contemporary. Service, 5 stars, servers were pretty friendly and helpful without overwhelming. Finally, The FOOD. Cannot express how happy I was from first bite! If you know sushi, sashimi and nigiri, you will enjoy the food at this place, the fish tenderness, texture and the chef creativity. Great place, ambiance, food. Would absolutely return.

    We did the somakase option and loved it! It was pricey but we'd do it again. we had a lovely table on the patio.

    What a delicious experience! We sat at the sushi bar and thoroughly enjoyed the "banter" with the sushi chefs as well as the service. The sushi/nigiri was incredible! Great quality of fish. Beautiful presentation. The brown butter mushroom dish was out of this world! Will be our go to in future travel.
