Ulu Kitchen by Merriman is an ocean front restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service featuring local ingredients and recipes created by chef Peter Merriman.

We have indoor and outdoor dining options, with a full bar, and the most prime dining views in all of Ka'anapali. The breakfast menu features classic favorites like Eggs Benedits, omelettes, pancakes, as well as some unique dishes like the cure (breakfast ramen) and our Hawaiian chilaquiles.

Lunch features our signature smash burger, fresh ahi tuna poke bowl, tempura battered fish and chips, and a fresh local veggie wrap.

Dinner has a seafood forward menu featuring Ahi Sashimi, Grilled Tako, Scallops, Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli. From the land we offer a USDA Prime Beef Filet Mignon, Snake River Farms Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger, and Maui Nut Venison Loin.

Love the food, service was great but do to weather we had to sit inside. The music was so loud we couldn’t speak to each other or server without yelling. I would only go back if seated outside. We ate quickly and skipping after dinner er drinks and dessert due to noise level

Been twice in one week already. Unreal food, amazing and knowledgeable staff, and an all around great vibe. Will be back again, and again!

Fabulous. Ate here twice this trip. Had steak both times instead of fish. The beef was outstanding!!!!

We had a reservation and was seated 15 minutes late. Then got to our table and had to wait another 10 minutes for service. Asked to move inside due to it being very windy. Was told we can move inside but service was lacking inside he said. We went inside, waited 10 minutes and still didn’t get service, water or anything, so we left. Was not impressed with the host, service or rude comments by the male server who moved us. Was excited to try this restaurant as heard it was good, but the service was horrible and it wasn’t even that busy. Not a good experience at all.

We had the swordfish and the ahi tuna entrees. Both were excellent! Mai Tai drinks were good too!

Wonderful addition to the Westin. Food was delicious we enjoyed Chef’s Macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi. It was moist and flavorful . Ambience is great for romantic evening

We've enjoyed our experience with Ulu in the past, but we're disappointed last night. Our server was less than welcoming, had no personal interaction, and acted overstressed/overworked. We felt very rushed - got our salads before getting our drinks and never asked if we needed a second drink. The mushroom pie has Ben and favorite but was very odd this time. The mushrooms were huge and watery. The lobster ravioli, however, was delicious as always! Hoping for a better experience next time.
