Ulu Kitchen by Merriman is an ocean front restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service featuring local ingredients and recipes created by chef Peter Merriman.

We have indoor and outdoor dining options, with a full bar, and the most prime dining views in all of Ka'anapali. The breakfast menu features classic favorites like Eggs Benedits, omelettes, pancakes, as well as some unique dishes like the cure (breakfast ramen) and our Hawaiian chilaquiles.

Lunch features our signature smash burger, fresh ahi tuna poke bowl, tempura battered fish and chips, and a fresh local veggie wrap.

Dinner has a seafood forward menu featuring Ahi Sashimi, Grilled Tako, Scallops, Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli. From the land we offer a USDA Prime Beef Filet Mignon, Snake River Farms Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger, and Maui Nut Venison Loin.

Beautiful dinner with an incredible sunset view. All the food was amazing, the salad had too much dressing was kinda drenched, but all the appetizers and entrees and the Ahi special for the night we too notch. Also enjoyed the virgin Mai Tai. Place was busy, we seated early and had no problems. Some neighboring tables were later complaining about slow service, but probably one of their busiest nights of the year and seemed like they were doing good. Diner early if you’re going to want to eat fast, otherwise you’re on island time.

Wonderful date night at Ulu Kitchen - we were seated on the outdoor patio by the beach and saw the last of the glorious Maui sunset. Our server was friendly & helpful. We ordered a bunch of items from the appetizers menu and she was able to help us navigate food allergies. The food came out all at once and we feasted! The corn chowder with coconut milk was super well-done - thick and creamy and full of flavor. The ahi tuna was fresh and tasted sweet & briny. The salad was freshly prepared and not over-dressed, and the clams were perfectly steamed. My only complaint is that I wished we had more foccia to sop up the clam broth. We loved the food, service, and ambiance here and would love to return!

Best dining experience in Maui! This trip we enjoyed Mama’s Fish House, Merriman’s, Taverna, Hula Grille, Leilani’s, Monkeypod Kitchen, and Ulu’s. Ulu had the best wait staff, quality of food, and views! Nicely done Merriman’s Team!

Ran out of prefix menu and the replacement menu also ran out. Bad communication and didn’t take responsibility.
