UnDefined has been changing the way people think about dining out in Hamilton. Voted one of Hamilton's best all-around restaurants for 2021, 2022, 2023, we are making a big impact on King William Street. With an evolving, seasonal and whimsical approach, our passion is what drives us every day. We strive to push the limits, and for our team, it is just what we love to do. We cook from scratch because that is just the way it should be. We love to challenge the way we all think about dining out.

We believe that there is no reason to put yourself in a box when going out with friends, so we do not do that here. Whether it is a night out with friends, an intimate dinner for two, or just something extraordinary, We are not afraid to take the familiar and turn it into something memorable. If it tastes good, we will put it on a plate, in a glass, or whatever. Our mantra is as simple as eat, drink, and enjoy!

    Don't define yourself this New Years Eve. Allow UnDefined to host you for a unique and memorable dining experience to usher in the new year. This unique 7-course Tasting menu takes you on a journey of discovery. From shared plates to composed dishes, our menu is thoughtfully designed to break the rules of the traditional new years eve menus. With the options of a reserve list wine pairings or let our bar team also join in on the evening with a blind cocktail pairing menu. Each have been thoughtfully selected to no longer define New Years Eve! Please note we will be offering 2 flexible seatings for this event - Our New Years Menu can be viewed at www.eatundefined.com - Please note cancellations within 72 hours are non refundable.

                                    The mussels were excellent the cocktails delicious Main course was the scallops and risotto I found the risotto a bit greasy but my husband thought it was perfect so there you go different tastebuds Only criticism is the menu the writing is so small you can’t read it bring a magnifying glass Our server was very knowledgeable and personable, we got our food very quickly Would recommend this restaurant to our friends

                                    We recently had a Sunday brunch at Undefined. It was a nice experience, not more than that. Service was great, but the food not as much. The quality of the dishes was not consistent ! The burger, chicken benedict and the mushroom benedict were pretty good, but the bone marrow benedict was really disappointing. A huge bone with very little bone marrow - not very satisfying. The person who ordered it was left hungry. Also, brunch here isnt for vegeterians. The menu had only one savory dish for vegetarians, which is the mushroom benedict,but the vegetarian in our group doesn't like mushrooms. We pointed it out to the waitress and asked to substitute the bacon in the cob salad with salmon (an add-on that exists in the menu). The answer was no, and that we can get an extra egg to the salad. Needless to say, the veheterian was left hungry too... For desert we really wanted the sticky toffee pudding, but they ran out of it. We then ordered the other two deserts on the menu - both were very disappointing. The pumpkin pie creme Brule was too sweet, and the chocolate cake was too dry and dense that we could barely cut it with our forks. Overall, we had a nice time amongst ourselves but I don't think we'll come back here

                                    It's always a great experience when we go to Undefined. The food is great and the service is exceptional. Amanda was our server today and Dharma was our server a few weeks ago. Both are very accomplished and sweet servers.
