At Vea, sea cucumber and fish maw live alongside truffles and caviar, fortifying some of Cheng’s signature dishes. Specific preparations change seasonally, for example, Cheng might stuff his sea cucumber with a mousse made from local female mud crab. Private Dining Room For guests who want that extra touch of luxury, our private dining room is available for bookings. Highly recommended for a table of eight, but also suitable for 10, guests sit around a one-of-a-kind dining table, carved out of a single tree. The private dining room or “PDR” is best known for the great views, both within the dining room and out. A large window allows diners to enjoy an insider’s view of the kitchen, which can be fogged up in a flip of a switch for extra privacy. A floor-to-ceiling window invites in views of Hong Kong’s famous skyline and a slice of Victoria Harbour. Whether you are celebrating a cosy birthday party or hosting an intimate wine tasting, we have the perfect venue for you.
