Attentive and personable server. My companion enjoyed her General Tso's chicken and my seaweed salad and steamed vegetable dumplings were delicious. The vibe, even when the place is busy, is always relaxing and chic.

Food was very good and attractively presented. Service was not as good. Appetizer served after main course, waiter brought the bill without asking if we wanted any dessert. Felt very rushed for no reason.

The ambiance is nice with an open space! Clean dining tables spaced out nicely! BYOB is always nice. I dined with my best friends celebrating a milestone birthday. I asked the waiter for the check at the end of the evening and asked to present something special at the end to say happy birthday with a photo! He said yes no problem! We ordered our appetizers which were delicious! The sushi super fresh and presented fantastic . Unfortunately, they were out of string beans which was super sad as this was my go to stir fry with shrimp! The restaurant was crowded and busy however, the disregard to celebrating a special occasion to be dismissed with were busy sorry did not sit well! If you want great sushi it was delicious !

First off, I never leave a review but here goes. We had a 7:45 reservation and had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. Felt rushed to order due to the kitchen closing early and a complete disconnect by the wait staff. The sushi was as expected…good, but not exceptional. No apology from management for not honoring our reservation. It seemed as though they wanted to clear out the place as soon as possible so the staff could all go home. Overall, a general feeling of our business not being appreciated. I’m not sure if we will return…not enough of a reason to. You can get good food anywhere…there’s more to it than that.

It took a really long time for us to get service at our table as well as other tables, but it took a long time and our particular server was very abrupt not friendly.

This was our second visit to the Bryn Mawr restaurant. Our normal go-to has been the Berwyn location for many years. The Bryn Mawr restaurant is every bit as good as Berwyn and we recommend either. Haven’t tried the Royersford location yet but I’m sure it is every bit as good as it’s sister locations.
