Verbena is a restaurant and bar located in the heart of West 6th Street occupying the street side ground level of the award-winning Canopy by Hilton Hotel. The venue is comprised of a 36-seat bar and lounge, a 60-seat dining room with open kitchen, and wood-burning hearth, both which open to a lush open-air courtyard. Journey through Chef Paolo's gastronomic narrative where he pays homage to his contemporary Mexican roots. His menu is highly influenced with essences of French techniques and contains stories and flavors he's discovered throughout his travels. It is truly a memorable dining experience. Come grab a coffee and freshly baked pastry on your way to work or spend a Sunday morning over a bountiful brunch. Appetizers were tasty but the main dish (chili relleno) was bland (lacked seasoning or salt) and the sauce was overly creamy so it wound up as a mush. They were also out of several wines by glass I tried to order and did not have substitutes.

We had an engagement luncheon at the restaurant. It was the perfect setting with big windows and lots of light. The staff did a wonderful job serving all 12 of our party. Highly recommend!

Great experience with Rachael! Lobster Benedict and Buffalo truffle chicken sandwich were perfect! Tons of lobster on the Benedict too! Loved the ambiance on the patio too ❤️

Tried a bite at austin food and wine festival so decided to go in. Ambiance and vibe are great, but felt like the food did not really come out piping hot. Scallops were great (sauce was weird) carrots were nice, but the service was poorly timed, he took a bit to take our order, said he would course out our meal and then brought out 2 dishes, then the next two entrees when we were one bite in on the first two apps. So it was a little weird on timing.
