Started with a skinny Margarita and my compliments to the bar tender!! I could tell the ingredients were fresh. Dinner was so good as well. We had the best service by Anna! We definitely plan to return. I am thinking about my cheese enchiladas and best refried beans I have ever tasted!

They did not have the reservation but we were able to be seated. There was obviously a problem between Open Table and Verde.

The food was fantastic. We love mexican food and this exceeded expectations. We went at lunch on a Saturday and it was not busy. So it was kind of nice to have the place to ourselves. We were celebrating our anniversary. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend

Verde is fine. Not great, not terrible. I always expect a better experience, though, since the Carmel location is somewhat upscale for Mexican fare. However, the service is the same as any Mexican restaurant around the corner. Like fast food in a prettier environment with servers that want you to order a meal immediately after sitting down. This might be okay in the Mexican restaurant around the corner because you expect that, but in the Carmel Verde where we had reservations, I want to settle in, enjoy a little conversation, enjoy the margarita I just received. I don't want to be rushed or to have the server interrupt our conversation multiple times pressuring us to order. While I appreciate the attentiveness, it would be great if they would learn to read customers' cues and not rush in so fast or so much... So very much. Let us enjoy our drinks and appetizer. While I understand you want to serve as many as possible, it would be a better experience to space out the server visits, space out the appetizer from the entree delivery. Don't bring the meal so fast. Let us finish the appetizer and enjoy the conversation for 10 minutes or so, THEN bring the entree.
