Vernick Fish presents Philadelphia’s own, Chef Greg Vernick’s exploration beyond the boundaries of a seafood restaurant. His ingredient-driven cooking style, paired with a love for global flavors, results in an inventive menu of fish and shellfish dishes, and a range of vegetable preparations. Taking a detailed, seasonal, and sustainable approach with small and large plate offerings, the kitchen brings new life to the favorite hallmarks of American oyster bar fare and raw bar. Complementing the experience are well-crafted cocktails, and a focused wine list of seafood-friendly white and sparkling offerings, as well as light, fresh reds.

    Join us on Wednesday, April 30th for a collaboration dinner with Cookie Till and her team at Steve & Cookie’s (Margate, NJ)!  Cookie, her Executive Chef Kevin Kelly and Chef de Cuisine Warner Christie will present dishes alongside our culinary team, led by Chef Greg and David Paterniti for a five-course, prix fixe dining experience. Specialty cocktails by Steve & Cookie’s resident Bartender Bruce, and Vernick Fish Lead Bartender Jon Bamonte will be available, along with an optional wine pairing. The dinner benefits Cookie’s “A Meaningful Purpose at Reed’s Farm” in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Greg has long been a fan of Cookie and has visited Steve & Cookie’s countless times - it means a great deal to welcome back Cookie and her team for the third year of this dinner and to raise continued awareness for the great work being done at Reed’s Farm.

    Everything was fantastic. The quality of the fish in the crudo was top notch, the cocktails delicious, the tuna rice bowl had crunchy rice in it which provided great texture. The salads were also light but deeply flavored. Would recommend to anyone

    Our waiter Lou was amazing and made the night more enjoyable! Service was exceptional!! All of the food was delicious. Best small plate was the crispy octopus - best octopus i have tried in the city! Salmon crudo was excellent as well. We shared our entrees: Halibut, fluke and lobster imperial and blackened sea bass- all were amazing! The Halibut was the best by far with the brown butter celery root sauce and the crunchy pistachio top! Definitely a must visit restaurant - worth the price for sure!

    It was a great experience. Our server was so knowledgeable of the menu, accommodating, friendly and kind to us during dinner service. The food was absolutely amazing. We loved everything we tried.
