Vernick Fish presents Philadelphia’s own, Chef Greg Vernick’s exploration beyond the boundaries of a seafood restaurant. His ingredient-driven cooking style, paired with a love for global flavors, results in an inventive menu of fish and shellfish dishes, and a range of vegetable preparations. Taking a detailed, seasonal, and sustainable approach with small and large plate offerings, the kitchen brings new life to the favorite hallmarks of American oyster bar fare and raw bar. Complementing the experience are well-crafted cocktails, and a focused wine list of seafood-friendly white and sparkling offerings, as well as light, fresh reds.

Reservations can be cancelled up to four days in advance, or modified at any time by calling the restaurant directly.     First real disappointing dinner in center city. Food was tasty but portions were small and the cost was outrageous. I guess you can get away with that kind of pricing at the 4 seasons landscaping site because people are more interested in being seen spending money. Service was mediocre and did not justify $13 beers nor a $50 pasta dish. It was nice that they comp’d the second pasta dish because it came out late, but a truffle pasta dish shouldn’t be $50. Will not return.

    Delicious food but prices have shot up from one year ago. Too expensive now. Searching for alternatives. Thanks Vernick Fish - nice while it lasted.

    Cocktails, dinner, and dessert were all great and exceeded our expectations. The service was also great, very friendly and knowledgable. Was on the pricier side for what we usually spend, but felt everything was worth it. Would definitely recommend

    We got an outstanding service by Erica and the food explanation was amazing. Definitely recommend going and trying the whole raw menu.

    On a relatively short menu three main items were sold out, among them the ones we had chosen. Poor planning. Oysters were good, food and drinks were fine. Service was slow and not very attentive. Seriously overpriced for food and level of service.

    Food, service, and setting were Outstanding. Vernick Fish should be on your bucket list. It has to be Philadelphia’s best restaurant right now.

    The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. There were a couple things we wanted that weren't available on the menu but other than that really great food!
