   Daniel was an amazing server and shared tips to make our dining experience a pleasant one. Tried the seasonal dishes with mushrooms and tortellini with duck confit. We also ordered the family favorite lasagna and took half home. A must do whenever we are in Austin.

   Service and food was great! Wine selection was excellent and not overwhelming. Portions are large enough to share.

   Everything was great, we were treated perfectly, the service was very good. The thing that put me off was the pizza, this dough was an insult to that wood oven.

   When we got seated at our table, we waited for 30 min without getting waited on and then just had to walk out and find somewhere else to eat. I heard the food is amazing here, we just had a bad first experience not being waited on or given any bread or anything for so long.

   My wife and I had memories of dining at Vespaio some five years ago and found the atmosphere different from what we remembered, though spirited (and perhaps louder). Our choice of classic Italian dishes was very good (maybe a bit “Texified” I suspect ?) all nicely dressed, the portions generous and the service excellent (friendly and attentive). “un altro ricordo felice da conservare e rivisitare…”

   An absolute delight in Austin the food is delightful sexy and really invites you to savor every second from appetizers to entrees and finishing with dessert each plate was eventful and as wowed as I found myself with the food I was more impressed by Tom what an absolute legend impeccable service knowledge banter the guy was the highlight of my trip if I have one recommendation at Vespaio it’s to ask for Tom as your server.

    I come to Austin for work every few months. It is only a good trip if I come and have the best lasagna in Austin, maybe in Texas. Already looking forward to coming back.
