What a great experience! Located above a longtime Italian bakery, at night it becomes a wine bar and restaurant. The menu isn’t extensive but everything sounds delicious, and I can tell you that the veal meatballs and the boar ragu definitely are. Service was great, wine list was excellent and reasonably priced, and I appreciated the 90s music. Definitely a hidden jewel in Hell’s Kitchen.

I live in the neighborhood and pick up pastries at their downstairs coffee bar all the time, which are delicious. Then, last night we tried the upstairs wine and pizza bar and it did not disappoint. Eddie, the manager, was super-attentive and welcoming. Both of our salads (we had a caesar and a beet salad) were excellent, as well as the veal meatballs, and the tye dye pizza. The wine list was thoughtful, with a great cotes du rhone by the glass. So excited to now know that I live right near some of the best pizza in NYC.

I’m obsessed. It was so cute and small, they have a roof outdoor space between buildings with couches and a fire. The food was so good and the servers were really nice. The food also came quick, we were in and out in 40 minutes with 4 people not feeling rushed at all. Would recommend.

Great new neighborhood spot. Roof deck is really nice. Relatively small menu, but everything on it is truly outstanding.

Excellent food! We had salads before we shared a pizza, so good! Nice place, good service. It was quiet the night we went. Should be doing a bustling business!

Amazing experience here! Eddie was awesome and super sweet. The pizza and pasta are really top notch. Very well priced wine as well. Also delicious champagne! Definitely come here for a casual to semi-upscale Italian night out!

Vesuvio is fantastic! It’s my second time dining at the restaurant, and it’s become my favorite in the neighborhood. Food is fabulous and the service is beyond amazing.

the staff at vesuvio are helpful, kind and the food is fantastic. Pizza, pasta, apps and fantastic wine and desserts. Must go to place with a fantastic outdoor rooftop.
