Via Vite is a modern Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati on Fountain Square with the largest outdoor dining space in the city center . Our menu features Chef Cristian Pietoso's creative Italian cuisine using the best local and imported ingredients available. We have private rooms available for all size groups and types of events.

*On New Year's Eve and Valentines day we only offer a pre-fix menu

    We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner at Via Vite. Our server, Katrina, ensured to make us feel special and did intentional things like bringing us prosecco to top off our evening. Managerial staff was visible and checked in with us, wishing a happy anniversary, and comped our dessert (ricotta donuts!). We enjoyed our drinks, appetizers, pastas, and desserts. Katrina created a great pace of coursing of all of our dishes and kept our table clear, making sure our conversations weren’t interrupted. Thank you again Via Vite for creating such a wonderful dining experience.

    Third time within the past year of being there and every experience has been wonderful. Tonight was for my son's birthday as his request from being there last month. Thank you for the donuts as well, that was a great touch.

    The food was very good, and the entire menu was amazing. My only issue was with the service. Initially, they seated us at the wrong table, which was uncomfortable. We had to move upstairs after getting settled in another spot. They should have just allowed us to stay there since the place wasn't busy at all. Additionally, they brought us the bill without asking, even though we hadn't exceeded the recommended time for dining. This made us feel pressured to leave before we were ready. Overall, the food is fantastic, and the location is very convenient, but the service affected my experience negatively. I will definitely come back to try again, and I hope the service is better next time.

    Great holiday pre fixe menu. Service was good at bar before dinner and our server and support staff were on point. Food quality generally high and good value. Dessert textures/flavors a bit off. Overall, lovely experience and we would dine here again.

    Most of the dishes on the new years experience were sub par. Specifically the halibut ciopinno. The fish tasted like chicken, was dry and the base tasted mostly like ketchup. Out of the 8 dishes we tried we only preferred two. Gnocchi did not go well with the duck. Good on their own, just not together. However we really enjoyed the prime beef filet and the roasted beet and kale salad. The desert was...okay. In addition to having sparkling water and two cocktails, in total, we spent a little over $300. We would've felt more at peace if this was a $150 experience. We have had $300 experiences elsewhere that left us speechless. Above all, our server Priscilla was very sweet, kind and attentive and we enjoyed her service.
