Looking out over Quadra Park and just a few steps from the inner harbor, Victoria Harbour House in Victoria, British Columbia is a wonderful place to bring family or friends. With a regular dining room, as well as private dining options, it is a fine dining experience not to be missed. Starters on the menu at Victoria Harbour House include plenty of fresh seafood and unique dishes like escargots bourguignon, carpaccio and an array of wonderful soups, bisques and salads. Main courses emphasize seafood, but there are also delectable grilled meats. Pasta dishes at Victoria Harbour House include meat and seafood choices and the milopita for dessert is an absolute essential.

Food was very well prepared and presented. Service was excellent, friendly, professional and timely. Ambience was very pleasant and the music was excellent. The room was quiet enough to hold a conversation over dinner, a nice change!

the service was above reproach, James was excellent and remembered us from last few times we where there. The décor and atmosphere was warm and relaxing, which made it better to enjoy the great food that was cooked to perfection. I do like the small touches that they did in renovation the restaurant to match what was before, like the rug. between the great food and service they made us feel like VIP. We just want to say Thank you for giving us a great experience.

Lovely place with outstanding service (ask for Bob - he's great). Portions at these prices are a little stingy, however.

The ambiance was delightful. Service was great. The food was ok. Old fashion drinks were not good. Not sure why trout was not tasty. Will not order again. Steak and lobster plates were good.

Beautiful setting, great location. Real looked forward to a nice relaxing meal. Host was vet friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was friendly and welcoming as well. We ordered and to tell you the truth are food was up so quickly it surprised us! We both ordered steak, since it was a ‘steakhouse’, so we knew it wouldn’t take too long - unfortunately both of our steaks were really tough! Which was really disappointing. As for our waiter, he was friendly and there were about 4 tables with people at them - but we did both have to ask for another drink ( we had each only had our first, a pop and a Caesar) wasn’t expecting this from this type of restaurant!

We love this restaurant! We don't often get to Victoria but when we do we make certain to include one night with the amazing team at the Victoria Harbour House. Casual classy sums it up. In some ways it is a step back in time to when dinning was an experience to be savored as well as the food.

It was a wonderful atmosphere in which to celebrate New Years Eve. My husband and I had a great meal and the staff was terrific. We will return.
