                      Amazing food and service. The ribeye was easily the best steak I’ve ever had and the mashed potatoes were so silky, smooth, and flavourful.

                      The customer service here is always superb with lots of personal touches. The food is outstanding. I had the tenderloin and it was very tender and buttery. The bearnaise was perfect as were the frites. We always look forward to the amuse-bouches and they did not disappoint. Tonight we had a wonderful beef tartare and a very creative pomegranate “cinnamon heart”. She had the Caesar and a ribeye and was delighted by both. The cheesecake and gelato were the perfect ending to a lovely evening. Again, I can’t say enough about the service which is from a bygone era in terms of attentiveness but very modern in terms of friendliness and warmth.

                      Another wonderful meal last night at Victoria's. Lois and the whole team always make us feel special and valued. We started with fresh oysters, baked oysters, scallop and foie toast, and steak tartare. All were prepared perfectly and were both delicious and beautiful in presentation. We asked for some crisps to enjoy with the tartare. Ribeye was on point as usual, and the lobster tail with saffron risotto is becoming a new favorite dish of ours. Looking forward to returning again soon. Thank you!

                      I luv my steaks I kno my cuts Worse tenderloin I’ve ever had I even asked if this was a tenderloin because it seemed to be a flank cut the way it cut and the grain of the steak definitely was t a tenderloin I didn’t even finish the steak it was hard full of fat it was gross I’ve heard good things about this place but I would never go back

                      My partner and I really enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner at Victoria's. The staff was very attentive, we didn't have to wait long for the food to come out, and everything we ate was delicious. The one thing that I was disappointed in is that the prix fixe menu (which was $95 per person) did not include dessert. For the price we were paying, I was surprised that this came at an extra cost. Overall, I would definitely go back to Victoria's again!

We know you have many options when it comes to selecting a Valentine's Day destination, and we're honoured that you chose to celebrate with us! We always consider quality, value, and the overall guest experience when designing our prix fixe menus, and we've found that after multiple indulgent courses, many guests opt out of dessert. In lieu of a final dessert course, we chose to highlight our friends at Madam Bonbon - a local artisanal chocolatier - and offer some handmade sweet treats so that guests could enjoy them at the table, or take home to indulge later on.                       We had a very poor experience with this restaurant. We weren't seated for well over 30 minutes after our reservation time. We were told that the previous occupants of our table had arrived late due to weather conditions, which had ended 24 hours before the time of our reservation. Based on the slow service we view this as extremely unlikely. Even after being seated service was slow, slow slow, taking far too much time to get our drinks, get our order in and get our food. The restaurant was just plain noisy ( not energetic as is the worst rating you allow), making conversation difficult. The grilled oyster appetizer was undercooked. 4 of us had steak for main courses ( the house specialty???) and 3 of 4 were not cooked properly. The server initially advised that the improper cooking was based on them being different cuts of meat... what??? The server then relented and offered to have them replaced. Overall it was an unsatisfactory experience. Too bad; Hamilton can use more good restaurants. This is not one of them.
