Everyone's favorite paper company opening an office in Kansas City? False. This is a pop up bar replica inspired by the greatest workplace sitcom of all time.
Is this the world’s best pop-up? Would it have a mug that says so if it weren't?

When I was a young boy my father took me to the city to see a pop up bar! Attention killjoys! You are invited to take your space in the black parade on 11/8 at My Chemical Barmance - the Emo Pop Up! Prove it wasn't a phase and don your black eyeliner, spikey chokers and tell your Myspace top 10 all about it. Have a rawring good time (xD) with cocktails such as Party Poison, Toast of You, and Banana-Na-Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na ) Teenagers scare the s*** out of me, so this bar is exclusively 21+ Friday and Saturday, but open to all ages Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday. Rock out with Emo Trivia Wednesday, Music Bingo Thursday, Live Music Friday / Saturday Night and Emo Karaoke Sunday! This bar will say so long and goodnight on 11/30!

Drinks were good. Ordered pretzel bites and they tasted funny. Music was spot on but decor was lacking. I probably will not be going back.

What a bummer this was… I’d heard good things about past events at Vignettes, and an Emo Pop-up bar is something I would love in theory, but the execution of this event was lazy and unabashedly so. The cocktail menu was like 7 different combinations of “juice, soda and spirit” and a pina colada (one drink we had was straight orange juice.) The live band was inexcusable, hiring a “Live, Laugh, Love” band to play an MCR tribute is not a decision that you make when putting in real effort. I didn’t have high expectations for the decor, but a long red wall with the word “TEENAGERS” on it doesn’t send the right message. Overall, my party and I decided this bar wasn’t worth more than the one bad drink and 6 terrible song renditions we heard and left after 20 minutes. Good god man

Vignettes is a wonderful place to spend a night with friends, family, or loved ones. Their themes are always fun, and the decorations they use to match are always top notch. Love what they do with the drink menus, the tables, and the costumes that the bartenders and wait staff wear! Plus you are in for a real treat if Gina is working, she always makes our visits memorable and we love getting to visit with her whenever we go to Vignettes! My girlfriend and I have been on multiple occasions, and we plan to continue to attend as often as possible! My Chemical Barmance was the latest one we attended, and they really went all out! We'll definitely be going back soon, and you should plan to visit soon as well!

This was the worst bar by Vignettes I have been to. You had all this My Chemical Romance decor but not a single song until I said something. You seem to not even know what emo music is and your live singer either doesn’t know either, or just knows she can only sing certain music. How was it ok to sing a freaking country song at an emo bar? Her voice and the music is so loud in that tiny space that myself and my family couldn’t even hear each other talking. I’ve been supporting your events for two years but I don’t know if I’m going to bother going to go to another one after this.

You have no right to insult our singer. Don't bother coming back, we don't want you. She designs most of our bars, and her voice is amazing.

I’ve been for a few of the pop ups and they have always been great! Fun atmosphere and great drinks. They do a great job and it’s a fun time with friends enjoying the different themes! Looking forward to seeing what they do in the future!

Great props! Music was extremely loud. I believe the admission goes toward paying for all the props. They were out of some of the drinks. Would go again but think charging admission is excessive given the cost of cocktails.
