Welcome to Vistro Prime, a beloved neighborhood steakhouse in the heart of downtown Hinsdale, Illinois. Formerly known as Vistro, this establishment underwent a transformation in March 2021 under the culinary direction of Chef Paul Virant. At Vistro Prime, you can indulge in a delightful array of traditional steakhouse offerings such as juicy steaks, savory chops, and fresh seafood, alongside the familiar and beloved signature dishes that have captured the hearts of our patrons.

We'll start you off with a cocktail and some snacks before moving on to a delicious multi-course meal that is sure to start some conversation. Each course is cooked right in front of you in our wood oven and introduced by our chef. Beverage pairings are available as well. For larger parties, you can reserve the entire restaurant. Outstanding. Our favorite and go to restaurant. Food is always delicious and of the highest quality. Service is warm and welcoming. Never disappoints and always exceeds expectations!

Very good. A little pricey. $10 for bread service.? Filet was great. Chocolate mousse amazing. Cosmos decent.

Outstanding! We started with oysters and the buratta. I had the fish special - walleye pike. Delicious! My husband had the New York strip which was very good! Always a great experience!

We went for our Anniversary dinner. It was outstanding in every way! They brought glasses of champaign to the table to start. Then for dessert the head chef brought out flourless chocolate cake. Such great attention to detail! Amazing dinner, food was great, would absolutely recommend.

I’ve eaten at a lot of 5 star restaurants and this experience was as good or even better. The attention to detail was next level. Folding the napkin and putting it next to my plate when I went to the bathroom was mind blowing. Some Michelin Restaurants don’t even do that! The only miss was then men’s bathroom was out of hand paper towels. Other than that it was an incredible experience! I will be back and I definitely recommend! Well done!

Wonderful NYE dinner at Visto Prime with friends. Food was delicious-lots to choose from the menu, service excellent and overall ambiance lovely. Great time was had by all!!

First time here. Drinks and desserts very good. Food I thought way over priced. We did the sea food tower and comparing it other similar restaurants it was way over priced for the seafood received. I would pass on the tower. Food portions are small but pricey. First time ever seeing scallops and a dessert marked as “MP” but I guess you can pass on the items.
