Welcome to Vistro Prime, a beloved neighborhood steakhouse in the heart of downtown Hinsdale, Illinois. Formerly known as Vistro, this establishment underwent a transformation in March 2021 under the culinary direction of Chef Paul Virant. At Vistro Prime, you can indulge in a delightful array of traditional steakhouse offerings such as juicy steaks, savory chops, and fresh seafood, alongside the familiar and beloved signature dishes that have captured the hearts of our patrons.

Our bar program shines the spotlight on classic cocktails, complemented by a thoughtfully curated selection of wines and beers. We'll start you off with a cocktail and some snacks before moving on to a delicious multi-course meal that is sure to start some conversation. Each course is cooked right in front of you in our wood oven and introduced by our chef. Beverage pairings are available as well. For larger parties, you can reserve the entire restaurant. My husband and I went for his birthday last night and it was even better than expected! The service was amazing and our waiter had great suggestions. We absolutely loved everything we ate and the drinks were delicious! We will definitely be going back someday.

Started with crispy kale- light and crunchy. They were lightly flavored- just right. Ate steak- cooked perfectly. Side dishes yummy and perfect for sharing. Dessert sizes were not over the top; a good way to finish the meal.

Vistro Prime is always a delicious and fun evening. The staff is always courteous and provides great recommendations. Love the cocktails and the menu is always fun and approachable. It is always solid!

Outstanding service and dining in a lovely ambience similar to downtown Chicago. Menu encompasses something for everyone and wine list is terrific. Great evening with friends!

Good food but not as good as it used to be. The value has gone down. Portions are smaller than previously.
