With slow-roasted local meats. Rich savory sauces. Handmade pasta. Fresh-from-the-farm vegetables. Volario’s serves bold, earthy fare inspired by the pasture-rich terrain and fragrant kitchens across the Italian Alps – right here in the Rocky Mountains.

With a menu that changes with the harvest of the season and the catches from the streams, Volario’s surprises the palate with both local produce and faraway flair. As you savor the rustic and robust flavors from the mountainous regions of northern Italy, we invite you to sit back with a nice Chianti and reflect on your day in the majestic mountains here.

Our dishes are hearty and adventurous, much like Volario himself. The legend in the Grand Valley is as old as the pines that shade the creek. Volario wasn’t from these parts. Like many of us, he visited and couldn’t imagine leaving.

                  The food and service were excellent. So happy that Volario’s is open again after being closed during and after COVID. The ambience is elegant and welcoming. Such a nice treat to have in our beautiful mountain town! Can’t wait to go back.

                  What a cute restaurant with great ambience in the Town of Winter Park. Enjoyed the preparation of the broccolini appetizer. The Wagyu bolognese was outstanding. A nice by the glass wine list. The service was friendly and warm. Dinner was perfectly paced out. Will definitely dine here again.

                  OUTSTANDING! What an unexpected surprise to find such an outstanding restaurant in the middle of a local’s ski town. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and Volario’s made sure that it perfect in every way possible!!

                  The food was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. Our only issue was the restaurant was very warm inside. Almost too warm.

                  Great food we repeated last year as our closing dinner for the family ski vacation. Service was perfect, manager was twice in our table assuring quality in food and service.

                  This was our first time at Volario's and we were really looking forward to our meal! The size of the restaurant is really deceiving. It looks like a small restaurant up front, but then you walk past the open kitchen and there is a fair amount of seating — including an area off to the side that, I'm guessing, would be great for big groups or private parties. Our waitress was very nice and took our order fairly quickly. We split a caesar salad and it was good. My husband ordered the 12-layer lasagna bolognese and said it wasn't anything special. I ordered the daily special "caprese" risotto and while it was delicious, it could have used something (more basil? more salt? more balsamic?) to balance the sweetness of the tomatoes a bit. I was expecting their freshly baked foccacia to be amazing, but it was just okay. I also had to ask three different times for a side of lemon or lime for my water which was frustrating. I was hoping to like Volario's a lot more than I did. The food is good, but just not great.
