Enjoy creatively prepared American fare at Von's 1000Spirits Gusto Bistro. This charming spot features various flags draped across the ceiling and an open kitchen where patrons can watch the chefs at work. Owner Merrisa Firnstahl-Claridge and Executive Chef Jason Amador delight in offering delicious food with friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. Patrons can choose from entrées like salmon cakes with pickled vegetables, homemade meatballs with pasta or a hoisin-glazed prime rib burger at Von's 1000Spirits Gusto Bistro. Sourdough pizza with a choice of toppings, salads, hearty sandwiches and vegetarian dishes also make for fulfilling meals. Von's 1000Spirits Gusto Bistro is featured in publications such as The Seattle Times and The Stranger. It has happy hour with a sizable bar that serves cocktails as well as housemade vodka, gin and tequila. This bistro hosts private events for parties as well.

Friendly service, excellent food and drinks. We ordered the flat bread pizza and house-made sourdough mac and cheese with chicken, both highly recommended. Drinks were house-distilled bourbon Old Fashioned and a Black Raven Samish Haze IPA. Service was attentive and we didn't wait long for food. The Von's vibe is lively, casual and communal with a lot of conversations happening all at once, but not too loud to have your own conversation. We've been here several times and have enjoyed the experience every time. It's a little on the pricey side, but worth it for catching up with an old friend, special occasion or a date night. I'd advise booking a reservation on OpenTable as it does get busy. Von's is one of our favorites! Note: we also love their sister restaurant, Sharps Roast House near the Seattle Airport.

Food was fantastic but our server, Luke, was overworked and overlooked our table multiple times. Seemed to be more attentive to others. My mom ordered pasta and asked for a side of focaccia. Never came. Even after asking the runner, our server, and again our server who told us that it should be out any minute (even after about 20 minutes in between). The pizza and pasta was outstanding and my salmon burger was also great. Could have had a bit more flavor as the avocado was just that as well as really no seasoning on the salmon. Huge portions. Being a former server, Luke needed to have less tables. Lastly, my mom wanted a receipt, which apparently was pressed, but was never delivered from our server. She asked at the front to no avail. Overall, food was great but I would try a lunch rather than dinner time due to the amount of people and lack of servers.

Incredible food and drinks, great and quick service, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for! Beautiful interior, only deducted a star from ambience because it’s on the toasty side.

Amazing service and the drinks were delicious and creative! Ambient and trendy but limited if one has a party of over 4 people! We made it work with reservations for more than 4. We had family visiting from out of the country and they enjoyed the drinks selection as well as the food. It can get pretty loud but that is typical of any bar/restaurant.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Was served nuts after clearly asking whether or not the pesto had any nuts several times to both our server and the manager. The manager, Nick, felt that this was my fault and that ALL pesto has nuts and I should just not order it. This was extremely unprofessional and potentially life threatening. I am still very upset about this experience and plan to escalate

** dont get scared by the long line of people waiting to enter or the full restaurant, it is extremely worth it and so fast ! We had ab amazng time with Patrick our server , he even added a little touch of french for us. The sourdough pizza was the best I have ever had and the garlic shrimp the perfect flavor! Would highly recommend for the service, the menu and the ambiance. A little loud and be prepared to share your pizza !
