We left disappointed. Probably one of the worst experiences l've had ever. From when we sat down, the glasses were not cleaned properly. They served us water in glasses that looked very "cloudy".
We had a reservation for 4, and my friends ordered from a "fixed menu". He asked for his salad to be without goat cheese since he is allergic. When he received the salad, it had goat cheese. He decided to send it back, and the server comes back with the SAME plate and said it is not goat cheese.
All 3 of us have tried it and it was indeed goat cheese. So he sent it back for the second time and they changed it.
This is dangerous. How can you send back the same plate and say it's not "goat cheese" while it is? Its clearly all over the salad, and especially when someone mentioned that they are allergic. Shame on you.
The other issue was that they brought the soups, and no one had spoons. We had to track the waiter down and by that time, the soup already got cold.
We decided to order a round of wine, but at no time did they come back and asked if we wanted any thing additional. So we sat at a 2 hour and a half dinner with 1 glass of wine, and had the water refilled 1 time. No one came and asked if everything was "good". This is beyond me.
The dessert tasted like something that was bought from a store. Pumpkin pie, without any pumpkin flavor.
Absolutely insane.
At this point, we were all disappointed and I decided to ask to speak to a manager, since I booked the reservation and it was my birthday celebration.
The manager came over and listened to our concerns; she did not seemed apologetic, gave us scripted / generic speech and that was it.
The table next to us, was celebrating his birthday and received a dessert with sparkles/candles, while I was completely ignored on that.
We did receive complementary Prosecco after we spoke to the manager as a "trying to make things right".
The food in general is very bland. Now; the view is spectacular.
