Overlooking the confluence of Spray and Bow Rivers, The Waldhaus. our "House in the Forest" is a retreat for those seeking solace from Banff's bustle. What began as the Clubhouse for the renowned Stanley Thompson Golf Course has transformed into a sanctuary of Mountain gastronomy. In the dining room above, rich timber and a majestic hearth narrate the epic tales of bygone explorations. Meanwhile, the Bierhalle below is where history and merriment collide, offering a spirited space for companionship, games, and the shared joy of storied adventures.
Please note: - The Waldhaus is designated as a historical building and such has stairs to access all areas. - The Bierhalle and Billardhalle only take limited reservations, otherwise operating on a first-come, first-served basis - Regrettably the Waldhaus does not take reservations for its patio due to the unpredictability of mountain weather however, we will do our best to accommodate patio requests on a per case basis.
Whether a small celebration with family and friends or a larger occasion, the Waldhaus Restaurant is the perfect spot away from it all. Let us help you create the perfect event for you and your guests to enjoy. Please contact our team at BSH.FBSales@fairmont.com for more information.
