On Mother's Day, La Sen will only be offering the Dinner Menu and Special Menu all day.

La Sen Bistro in Walnut Creek is serving the parallel French-California classic samples of duck confit, rack of lamb, escargot, beef bourguignon and mussels - just to name a few. These great samples were recognized by the Diablo Magazine, San Francisco Chronicles, Contra Costa Times and San Jose Mercury News. In addition, these samples were also recognized by the Michelin Guide in 2007, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Very nice ambiance if not a little noisy due to the open kitchen. Disappointed we could not order cocktails. Ordered Cesar salad with dressing on the side and it came heavily dressed. Other food was delicious. Not for everyday dining out as it's expensive, but a nice treat.

It was our 1st time eating at La Sen and other than the slightly long-awaited for our table (we had a reservation), it was great. The food was delicious, the ambiance was nice, it felt like we were in a bistro in Paris and our server; Darren, was very cool. In addition, the prices were reasonable. We're definitely adding La Sen to our restaurant "rotation ".

Great food as always, the service was a little slow, but it was New Years Eve. Every table was taken, so that’s understandable.

Clare, the waiter, was prompt, attentive, and sensitive to our needs. The food was excellent. One person in our group said his pork chop was the best he ever had. Highly recommend this Bistro!

We’re so happy La Sen is open for lunch again! It’s such a treat to enjoy an elegant luncheon in lovely surroundings and be served authentic French cuisine.

One of the best restaurants in Walnut Creek and the best French restaursnt I’ve been to outside of Paris! Must have dishes-duck pate, french onion soup, mussels, lamb shank and crème brulet. To die for. Also great service and ambience. You must try this as soon as possible!!!
