Wasabi Bistro Hawaii is one of the Honolulu’s casual dining, with an atmosphere of relaxing out-house theme. The restaurant was founded in 1992 as one of the Japanese restaurants in Oahu as a hidden spot, for family and friends to gather, and it has been treasured for many years.

Wasabi Bistro Global is a modern take on intricate, traditional Japanese food enjoyed in a quiet elegance of an intimate bistro setting. Subtly decorated with exquisite Japanese art and artifacts, the dining areas have been designed to offer guests the utmost privacy. Wasabi Bistro is discreetly tucked away inside The Breakers hotel. Was greeted by one of the staff at the entrance of the hotel. All of the staff was outstanding during our dining. Ordered two of their signature dishes: the Baked Scallop Special and the Papaya Seafood Motoyaki, which were both excellent! Looking forward to my next trip to Waikiki so I can make a return visit to Wasabi Bistro.

た小さいお店ですが日本の雰囲気もあり、日本語も通じるので安心です。ホスピタリティも良いです。料理は凝ったものはないですがおすすめの創作料理は美味しかったですし、全体的に日本の味付けで美味しかったです。

The beef steak was so tough to chew, so we ended up couldn’t eat it. We told the waiter about it. The restaurant manager/owner didn’t even try to resolve the problem of their steak with us. We were fully charged for the steak that we couldn’t chew at all!!! What an awful experience!!! We will NO LONGER going back to Wasabi Bistro!!!

They accommodated our kids well and we loved the unique dishes including Wasabi number 1, the sushi, tempura, eggplant miso, and hamachi special. Lovely ambiance took me right back to Japan.

First example of a restaurant being different by having HIGH QUALITY ingredients. You can tell they care about the way the food is cooked and how it is presented. The servers were professional and kind. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in sushi in Waikiki.
