   Ariana is the best waitress in Bend. The manager? SO so. She didn’t welcome us, didn’t t want to accommodate us. WE ARE ORIGINAL WASHINGTON LOCALS. But eventually we were seated in the booth. Don’t think I will go back, as it has turned into a noisy, family affair, with kids running around. Yes I’m older but used to be manners from kids The millennial newcomers now have it. California here they come . Back to Portello. Adult restaurant.

   Friendly unhurried environment. Delicious food (soup and salad) Very comfortable booth and spacious seating. Second visit here!

   It was super sweet. It’s really nice spot. The food was good and they even had gluten free buns for burgers. The service was very good.

   Our waitress overcharged us. A group of 7 women and hard to unravel the charges. She told us that Dewars scotch was on the HH menu so thinking it was 2 of the women ordered 2 glasses. Turned out they were not HH prices. The waitress said she’d give us a few $ back for the misunderstanding as we were exiting the restaurant. We felt she should honor what she had told us. We didn’t bother with the “a few dollars “ and left. We often come as a group to Washington next time we will go to 900 Wall.
