Water Grill has been serving seafood in Downtown Los Angeles since 1989. This iconic seafood destination in the place to enjoy the first catch of the season and a deep variety of fish, lobsters, crabs, oysters and shellfish on a robust menu that changes daily. New product arrives from boat-to-table in a matter of hours from our exclusive seafood distribution company and our chef’s preparations allow the high-quality product to shine.

Bring in the New Year at Water Grill in Los Angeles! This New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, enjoy a four course prix fixe menu with Guest favorites and chef-inspired creations, plus a champagne toast at midnight to bring in the New Year. An additional wine pairing enhancement will be available. The complete New Year’s Eve menu will be shared leading up to holiday. Please note that only the prix fixe menu will be available for New Year’s Eve dinner, starting at 3:00 p.m.

Total management fail. Don’t accept a 10pm reservation if your kitchen closes at 10pm.

This was our first time at the Water Grill and it was excellent. The cold seafood bar was amazing (I haven't seen one this good since I left NYC) and my husband said the steak was perfect. Most outstanding was the service! The gentleman who served us (Royce) was truly one of the most attentive and polite servers I can remember. It was my birthday and I mentioned I was living Keto when he offered rolls. He remembered this and made sure all my dishes were Keto compliant. That was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. A++ for the Water Grill. (Not written by John - written by his spouse)

One of my favorite go to places. Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Hot tip… have the bread pudding for dessert.

We absolutely enjoyed EVERYTHING about our experience! Service was top notch, food was excellent, loved the wine. Our waiter was exceptional and the ambiance was wonderful … the building itself is a hidden gem. Will return again and again!
