Water Grill has been serving seafood in Downtown Los Angeles since 1989. This iconic seafood destination in the place to enjoy the first catch of the season and a deep variety of fish, lobsters, crabs, oysters and shellfish on a robust menu that changes daily.     The food was good, but I think overpriced by about $5 per main, service was excellent, and I enjoyed my time there.

    Service and food was ok...we were seated close to the open kitchen which was a bit noisy and busy...food was ok the Chowder was Amazing though, but the shrimp in the scampi was a little bit over cooked...ingredients were fresh and I can personally say was farm to table...our waiter was accommodating but wasn't that friendly probably tired but overall the experience is ok

    Great experience as always! The staff were very experienced and nice. Ambience was very enjoyable.  The food was exquisite.

    The food, ambience and hospitality is amazing here, this is my 4th time at this restaurant. Highly recommend it if you are in town.

    I dined with my son. We were not treated well. The food was served too quickly (starters were still being eaten, when mains were put on the table), lobster tail had a chewy/rubbery texture, and the only time our waitress seemed interested in us was when she delivered our 250-dollar bill. We deserved better.

    ThIs is one of our most favorite restaurants. The service is impeccable and the food is extraordinary. Needless to say that it has great ambiance and the price is right.
