Water Grill has been serving seafood in Downtown Los Angeles since 1989. The food, ambience and hospitality is amazing here, this is my 4th time at this restaurant. Highly recommend it if you are in town.

ThIs is one of our most favorite restaurants. The service is impeccable and the food is extraordinary. Needless to say that it has great ambiance and the price is right.

Great choice for NYE in DTLA. Food a service were superb. Added touches were a calendar gift and Photo Booth.

The food and selection for the set menu was very good. We missed some of our favorites from the regular menu. As always, Chris our server provided excellent and attentive service. The Photo Booth was a very nice touch, as were the hats and party favors. I would highly recommend going to the Downtown Watergrill for any special occasion!

Our food: some courses were delicious, like the roasted beet salad, but my husband had to return two times to the kitchen a filet mignon that was served TWO times absolutely raw inside. The request was for medium rare. My biggest complaint/criticism was the server came and asked us no less than 4 times what we wanted to order for the entire prix fixe meal. I had told her that I hadn't decided 1 time, then just when appetizers were served, she asked again, and again for the entire selection, despite just starting and having been told we wanted breathers in between each course. Server was not listening and kept trying to take the full 4 course order so they could turn the table. You don't do this in an upscale restaurant. I ordered a full size lobster and it was not served with any tools to remove the meat. I was only given a full sized fork and cracker. I asked for a pick and got a cocktail fork. No extra napkins either. Needless to say, I used my hands and it was a mess. We walked out with a $465 bill for two, so I would have expected better service.

Water grill has never been a disappointment. Food service and ambience second to none. I introduced my daughter and son-in-law to the Water Grill and I now that’s their favorite place to go on special occasions ie: anniversary.
