    Waterbar will serve a five-course pre-fixed menu for dinner. Chef Josh Su has chosen his favorite seasonal and celebratory dishes for the menu! $195 per person (exclusive of 20% gratuity, 6% SF mandates surcharge, and 8.625% sales tax). Beverages are charged on consumption. We have two seatings available: the first seating from 5:45pm - 6:30pm with a 2.5 hour table time limit; and the second seating from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. PLEASE NOTE: The fireworks can only be viewed from outside of the restaurant on the Embarcadero walkway. There is NO Valet parking. Go to Spothero.com for parking availability.

    Tonight was a celebration of our Wedding. Our server was excellent and knowledgeable About the selections. At the end of the meal they brought a plater that said congratulations and some bubbly to celebrate.

    Our server was excellent and the overall service was excellent but the scallops were extremely salty and the entree was an appetizer portion served on a dinner plate. I’ve had excellent food here in the past so I hope this meal was just an unfortunate exception.

    I had not been to Waterbar in a while and looked forward to this visit. I was sad to find the food mediocre and seemed to rely mostly on salt for flavor covering for the poor quality of the ingredients and cooking. The service was also lacking. When the server was at the table, they were very nice however getting them to the table meant finding them and getting their attention otherwise we were just left sitting there. Overall very disappointing. I will not be returning or recommending Waterbar.

    Minimal choices for lunch, but it's the ambience you go for first! Live in the neighborhood and Waterbar has been a go-to for a decade!

    My husband loved the fish and chips. Only complaint was the wines by the glass. Had trouble finding something to my liking. I guess my favorite was the French Chardonnay—good price point too.

    Oysters for $1.55 are great given dollar oysters aren’t a thing anymore, however seeing a worm in one of the oysters after we ordered 76 of them made me feel sick. The manager was useless and said “we have the best staff” and “we inspect all food out of the kitchen” instead of just owning up to their mistake. Do better, especially when people pay their hard earned money to try and enjoy a moment.
