Waterbar will serve a four-course pre-fixed menu for dinner, Chef Josh Su selected his favorite seasonal and celebratory offerings for the menu! $195 per person (exclusive of 20% gratuity, 6% SF mandates surcharge, and 8.625% sales tax). Beverages are charged on consumption. We have two seatings available: the first seating from 5:45pm - 6:30pm with a 2.5 hour table time limit; and the second seating from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. PLEASE NOTE: The fireworks can only be viewed from outside of the restaurant on the Embarcadero walkway. There is NO Valet parking. Go to Spothero.com for parking availability.

Love the atmosphere and the festive decorations! The food is tremendous and service is excellent. My husband had the branzino, which was deliciously smoky with a nice crispy skin, and my black cod was well seasoned and cooked to silky perfection. The warm apple crisp was outstanding, we’d go back just for dessert!

So sorry I do not remember our server’s name, because he provided amazing service. In fact, all the staff we interacted with were amazing. The food was more than delicious, it was mouthwatering. View of the bay is spectacular! Oh yes, he asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were out celebrating a birthday and anniversary. He surprised us with two tasty brownie bites. Trust me, dine here and you will not be disappointed.

Then$98 lobster pie was very bland. No taste. Not worth $98.

Quality of the larger entrees was very poor. We had the whole halibut and the lobster pot pie. Both very disappointing. The halibut was mushy in texture and the pie was very pretty but the filling was very meager and the lobster pieces a bit tough. The halibut ceviche was presented with some badly prepped pieces that were very unappetizing. At this price range there should have been much higher standards both in the freshness of the seafood and the quality of the preparation.

Service was great, appetizers just ok. Entrees were WAY too salty. We should’ve sent them back. Restaurant is way too expensive for poor quality preparation. It has become a bit of a disappointing tourist trap / expense account joint. There are many many better seafood options in SF.
