Overall wonderful experience with the quality and excellent service and food. Quite noisy but once some people left it got better. Expected since it was so crowded and full of customers dining.

Waterzooi is a great venue. However, as a vegetation, I wish there were veggie entree options. Basically none on the menu.

The food was excellent. Tables are crammed into the dinning room. Dirty silverware with food still on it. We received our drinks after our appetizer. The drinks were amazing and we wanted seconds but didn’t order because it would’ve taken too long. We couldn’t hear each other across the table because it was too loud.

The food and staff were great. They were very accommodating and not pushy when we ended up closing the place down. I would highly recommend it.

First time to Waterzooi, staff was lovely, food was delicious, ambience was very nice! My friend and I enjoyed our meals- skirt steak and scallops. Waterzooi has many fish dishes, they do offer non fish meals- steak, chicken on the menu as well, desserts were delicious-chocolate mousse and creme brûlée, many to choose from, highly recommend.

I LOVE Waterloo! The food is consistently delicious and the service is always attentive and professional. My fave go-to's are the mussel pots (moules frites). Last night I had the farmhouse ale mussels (my first time) and I think it's a new fave of mine (typically I go for the oreganato). My husband and I shared the fondue and he had the French Onion soup which is how I convince him to come to Garden City with me (it's about a 30 minute drive). Likely one of the best French Onion Soup's on Long Island. He had the steak sandwich which looked delicious (not one crumb was left) and we shared the chocolate mousse for dessert.

Always an A+! We started with the sweet potato gnocchi which is truly a hidden gem! Absolutely the BEST! It’s so decadent and flavorful-it’s a must. We each had a mussel pot and it’s everything you’d expect.
