Food was good but feels like a hotel dining spot, not a restaurant. Service was slow. Would prefer more ambiance for the price point.

Showed up to an empty restaurant with no one at the counter. Very disappointed to have taken a date somewhere that wasn't ready to serve us! Would recommend they remove this from Open table so others don't have this problem. The hotel manager asked us to sit and wait until someone arrived to help us...

We went for the Mother’s Day brunch. The Buffett was great! The savory items were delicious, including the omelets, carved meats, bacon, eggs, pizza, and so much more. The only thing that lacked was the desserts. There was a chocolate fountain with fruit, which was amazing, but the little deserts and mini cakes were not that great. However, they were not missed. The service started off weak, but got significant better. Overall, great experiences. Left with great memories and satisfied bellies :)

Beautiful arrangement, delicious food, (very good crab legs)! The Wave Restaurant is inside Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, but was not listed in its website, therfore hard to find it. Mother's Day Brunch is coming... I would recommend it to friends!

The food was very good. The staff seemed a little disrupted. Though we got there at 10:50 we were initially told they didn't serve breakfast after 11:00 am, when I pointed out it wasn't 11:00 am yet they took our order. We noticed the table next to us ordered breakfast after 11:00 am. I am not sure that the staff was sure of how to handle a brunch crowd. If the restaurant doesn't want to serve breakfast after 11:00 they should not advertise brunch (which traditionally serves breakfast and lunch until early afternoon). I am not sure of the rules there, but when I go to brunch on Sunday I do expect to be4 able to choose from either breakfast or lunch fare. Otherwise the resataurant was quite nice, the service was good and the food was very good as well.

We went to the restaurant on Valentine’s Day and everything was perfect ! Delicious food from the chefs and excellent service from our server Lupita. Highly recommended
