Hidden away on the beach with stunning panoramic waterfront views, Waves Restaurant offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience.
As a restaurant, it is just perfect for casual group meals, a romantic dinner for two or for a more elaborate wedding – for which they are very well known. Their interior has an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture, letting the ocean take centre stage. With glassed walls allowing the maximums views of the ocean in front of you, the feeling of dining by the sea is as real as it gets.
Their team of chefs have created a seasonal and mouth-watering menu that complements the relaxed, seaside feel of the venue. There are also delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and a daily specials board. The wine list is also generous in its diversity with sulphate-free, organic wines available as well as delicious local and interstate wines. There is plenty of paid parking right outside their door and they are open 7 days for lunch &

    My wife and I had lunch on the balcony to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love the location and had a great time. The vegan fish and chips was yummy.

    View is amazing food sensational with exceptional value for money. The only downside is it’s a little noisy. But we had an awesome time with friends with a quite different menu with meals that were all exceptional . Definitely go back again 😜

    Was ok.. food was nice. Had chicken scallopine.. chicken was a bit dry/overcooked.. we sat outside and got forgotten.. had to ask for things..view was amazing.. overall good..

    My sister and I love this restaurant Everything is great about it The location the food the ambience and hardworking friendly staff Was delighted when my boyfriend’s mother was in Frankston and suggested Waves On the Beach when we we were trying to work out where we would go when we were trying to arrange a catchup Decided to celebrate the boyfriend’s birthday there which was only 2 days away which made it even more memorable and of course my sister came too

    It was our first time at waves and we left happy . All the ladies were lovely and the food was amazing . It came out fast and everything was delicious . Definitely going back

    A busy restaurant with good reason. On a very hot day, they were full house, including the outside deck. The ongoing recognition is well deserved, from the ambiance, staff, food and location, a worthwhile destination.

    We caught up with old friends and had a very enjoyable evening at Waves. It was a very warm evening and we enjoyed sitting inside in air conditioned comfort. The food was excellent. They were very busy so understandably at one point a drink order appeared to have been forgotten apart from that staff were very nice & attentive. The hostess was very thoughtful adjusting the blind to protect our eyes from the sun. The view of the sunset over the pier and bay is spectacular. Parking is a bit of an issue as people park there to go to the beach & it’s paid parking but we found places after 7 pm. Highly recommend planning time to find a park.

    Very relaxing, this was the most I have seen my kids eat. My husband and I loved watching the view with the benefit of being inside. The portions were generous and there was a nice wine selection. We will go back. The service was perfect!
