   Fantastic atmosphere, great service and food was delicious. Wine was beautiful. Had the Chardonnay and Shiraz, both very good. Highly recommend and my husband and I will definitely be back. Great place to go as a couple or a group or even on your own!

   Thank you Teddy and chef for a wonderful Saturday lunch for my wife and I. Fabulous location with a great view Glorious food — tasty and interesting combinations of seasonal produce and beautifully presented. Very nice wines to complement our meal But most importantly a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Teddy is a champ as a perfect host This is a great venue — drop in and say hello on your way through to the Pyrenees Region or Ballarat Cheers. Ian and Jill

   Easy to book, positive reminders of the booking, excellent ambiance, jovial waiter, a tad slow with the meal, which was interesting and delicious.😋

   Had our wedding with Wayward last year. We came back for lunch for our first wedding anniversary. Teddy looked after us amazingly. And food was outstanding as always. Highly recommend!!

   We celebrated a family birthday (actually a celebration for all our birthdays) here and had an amazing experience. The view and ambience is beautiful, the food incredible and the service wonderful. It’s great to hear the story of the vineyard, the winery and the food and share the passion of the owner and chef. The presentation of the food is artistry, and it was lovely seeing the chef pop out to the garden to cut some fresh produce and herbs then a few minutes later it was served up to us. We have all agreed we’ll be back again!

   Highly recommend a visit to Wayward winery! The view overlooking the vineyards is perfect, food was excellent and wine pairing well done. The staff are attentive - managing great service in a professional yet casual style. Will visit again!

    We were blown away by Wayward Winery! We had booked a table for a weekend away in Ballarat, not knowing what to expect but so grateful we did. The food and wine were delicious, the interior design and view were stunning and the host Teddy was so lovely and welcoming. An absolute hidden gem that we’re glad to have uncovered.
