An American Smokehouse and Tavern, Whiskey 'N Rye features a varied menu of barbeque classics along with an eclectic mix of modern wine-country cuisine. Our dining experience focuses heavily on grill and smoke cooking techniques, with several unique signature features including our Hickory Smoked Brisket and Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Romaine Caesar, Smoked Spaghetti Squash, BBQ Chicken, Grilled Flatiron Steak with Chimichurri, and our Whiskey 'N Rye Brisket/Short-rib Burger, just to name a few. Enjoy your meal with our full bar featuring Signature Craft Cocktails, Zero-Proof Elixirs, and more than 60 specialty whiskeys from both local as well as national and international distilleries. Tasty food -- perhaps a little bit pricey, but it's a tourist town, so that's to be expected. Service was very friendly and place was lively. We'll go back!

Food is was good but the service was terrible. The waitress didn’t even know we were here table and walked by us 10 times before she even acknowledged us for drinks . I actually heard her ask someone else if we were her table. Just not enough staff at the restaurant.

The brisket was amazing as was the mac and cheese side. The ribs were mediocre and the chipotle vegetables and coleslaw were disappointing. The fried pickles were decent but not unique. Overall, as BBQ goes, it was an average experience and as a result, over priced for the quality of food and service.

It’s our go to place when we visit the area. Great food/drinks and excellent service. Brittany was very attentive and sweet. We love it and can’t wait to come back!

Whiskey N Rye was right pleasantly located right in the center of the town. It has easy parking in the back. The food was really delicious and the cervice was very professional and prompt. Nice place for and kids. If we visit Solvang in the future, decently will stop here for lunch or dinner.

Food and service were fabulous! So, good, that after our great dinner, we went there the next day for a quick bite of lunch. Would highly recommend this place.
